Earth Day Ghana 2020 Video Contest

4th April 2020

Submissions Accepted April 4 to April 14!

April 22nd will mark 50 years of Earth Day and this year’s theme is Climate Action. As Ghana and other nations seek to combat the threat of coronavirus, we must also be aware that climate change represents the biggest challenge to the future of humanity. As the West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change Program (, is committed to improving conservation and climate-resilient, low-emissions growth across West Africa, we are excited to announce our #EarthDayGhanaContests, organized in partnership with A Rocha GhanaKali Etch and the Ghana Wildlife Division.

The contests are open to Junior High, Senior High and Undergraduate University Students. Students who are homeschooled or take online classes are also eligible to participate. We hope that these contests give students a chance to step back and think about how we must all work together to ensure Earth remains the beautiful and magical home that we all share! Plus, there are cool prizes!
